Hello - My name is Michael Hagans.

 

I am a very grateful father of two very enthusiastic and energetic boys. I enjoy the challenges my boys provide...getting down, getting up, running around and chasing them, etc. But as a youth my story was very different. I didn't have the energy nor the enthusiasm as they do. Growing up as an only child in a blue-collar family and living on the typical Standard American Diet (SAD), I was over-weight and I had very low energy. My parents and most of my extended family all had extra pounds as well, and all of this was caused by the way we lived and the foods we ate. 

 

For decades government has failed us by painting this picture of what we should be eating and consuming based most entirely on lobbyists views and big corporation's mis-leading information. Many top policy makers are much more interested in the $$ rather than the reality of what truly is healthy and what is good for us. It's no wonder our country is leading the way for childhood obesity, early onset diabetes, cancer, coronary artery disease, and many other very serious chronic health-related (food-related) conditions. Which are mostly influenced by the traditional Standard American Diet (SAD)...Pretty sad when you think about it actually.  

 

How I was raised and influenced, by food and nutrition, when I was younger, is not anywhere near how I live today, nor how I influence my family or clients to live. And I must take a moment to acknowledge and attribute all the drive and desire to be healthy, and my willingness to find the truth, to my upbringing and life as a youth. And that is why I chose this path to become a personal and professional resource so that others, like me, who are struggling or who have struggled, could seek the personable hands-on help they need to address their health, nutrition, fitness and wellness needs and concerns. 

 

As a ACSM certified Personal Trainer, Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist, and being certified in Whole-Food Plant-Based (WFPB) nutrition - I'm able to provide my clients just that!! By providing them the ability to finally lose those stubborn pounds sustainably, gain lean muscle, help them to reduce stress, overcome fatigue and lack of drive, manage their pain, correct posture imbalances, among many others,...and possibly most importantly, being able to educate them on healthier food choices so that they can live a

better quality of life.
